Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

TabTrade — What It Is

TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

His background matters. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will round things out when it arrives.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The speed is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.
